3–8 Apr WAAPA: A Chorus Line Theatre|Dance|Film

Step, kick, kick, leap, kick, touch… Again! Seventeen professional dancers are auditioning for only eight spots in the chorus line of a Broadway show. Through drama, dance and song, A Chorus Line presents a true picture of what it’s like to be in the theatre: glamorous at times but also tough, heartbreaking and sometimes even tragic. One of only nine musicals to ever win the Pulitzer Prize for Drama, this singular sensation scooped a whopping nine Tony Awards and eight Drama Desk Awards when it premiered in 1976 and has been a classic of the musical theatre canon ever since.
