2–3 Oct WASO MACA Limited Classics Series: Carmina Burana Music|Concerts

Carmina burana has been repurposed, remixed and reworked by the best in the business for hundreds of films and TV commercials. However, there is nothing quite like the raw power of this epic classic performed live. The wheel of fortune spins on the pleasures of lust and the perils of life in a collection of 24 medieval poems thrillingly sung by a 130-voice choir with WASO. To open, we dance with the devil in Iain Grandage’s spectacular percussion concerto, inspired by Australian gothic stories.
